Halifax All-City Music

Halifax All-City Music is a vibrant, growing music education program funded by the Halifax Regional Municipality and staffed and supported by the Halifax Regional School Board. 1300 students study strings, band, choir, jazz and orchestra. The programs are offered at no charge to students.

The Halifax All-City Music Program exists to support and enhance the music programs of the schools in the Halifax Regional School Board. The students who take part in the ensembles that Halifax All-City Music  offers must be members of their own school music programs and ensembles.  Students who do not belong to existing ensembles in their schools are not eligible to participate in Halifax All-City Ensembles.
